Ashley Sullivan was born in New York in 1995 and is now based out of New Jersey.

Ashley primarily works with oil pastels on paper, gesso panels, and Pastelbord. She approaches her work in terms of color, showcasing the richness and uniqueness of oil pastels.

Her work explores the connection between color and chaos, reflecting on emotions, memories, and thoughts. The play between colors and chaos in Ashley’s work provokes moments of thought, evokes emotions and perspectives hidden within our own mind’s chaos, and ties together our contrasting, individualistic views of nature.
